Street Cat Digital Solutions
Free IT support for nonprofits doing the real work.
Our labor is free for qualifying nonprofits. We act as an IT support partner for animal shelters, humanist and community groups, and other nonprofits that need reliable technology but do not have an in-house team to provide it. We help with website management, workflow automations, custom software solutions, and AI-assisted tools, as needed, when you need it. We are not a long-term managed IT provider, but a partner you can call on when something needs building, fixing, or automating. We're proud to support Southern Pines Animal Shelter and Pine Belt Humanists.
How It Works
Free labor. Real limits. No surprises.
Our Labor Is Free
Design, development, integrations, automations, and AI work all come at no cost to qualifying nonprofits. We do not bill for our time.
Support As Needed
We are not a long-term managed IT provider or dedicated infrastructure team. We are a partner you can reach out to as things come up, whether that is a one-time project or ongoing help over time.
You Cover the Hard Costs
Hosting, domains, software subscriptions, and hardware like cameras or computers are the organization's responsibility. We will help you pick the right tools and get them set up correctly, and we will always do what we can to help minimize those costs too.
Trusted by Nonprofits
Proud IT partner to organizations doing good work.
Who We Serve
Built for organizations doing mission-driven work
Every nonprofit has its own mission, donors, volunteers, and constraints. We partner with animal shelters, humanist and community groups, and other charitable organizations to handle the technology side of things, from websites to automations to custom tools, so your team can stay focused on the mission instead of troubleshooting software.
Animal Welfare Organizations
Adoption listings, volunteer sign-ups, donation forms, and foster coordination all need to work reliably. We build and maintain the systems that keep animals moving toward homes and keep your staff out of spreadsheets.
Humanist & Community Groups
Event calendars, member communications, and community outreach deserve a website and toolset that actually works. We support the tech behind your gatherings, book clubs, service projects, and outreach so organizing takes less effort.
Local Nonprofits
From donor management to program tracking, we help small and mid-sized nonprofits run on systems built for their actual team size and capacity, not enterprise software they will never fully use.
Volunteer-Driven Teams
When most of the work relies on volunteers, technology needs to be simple and dependable. We build tools that are easy to hand off and maintain, even as the people running them change.
Growing Organizations
As your organization grows, so do the demands on your systems. We act as your on-demand technical partner, helping you scale operations, automate repetitive work, and support more of your mission without adding full-time IT staff.
Distinctively crafted code
Designed with care, built to last.
We support your organization online by building websites, applications, and digital experiences your volunteers, donors, and the public can rely on.
Custom Nonprofit Websites
Tailored website builds that reflect your mission and make it easy for donors, volunteers, and the public to engage.
Donation & Adoption Forms
Simple, reliable forms and workflows for donations, adoptions, event sign-ups, and volunteer applications.
Web Applications
Development of dynamic web applications that support program tracking, member portals, and other day-to-day operations.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Strategies and techniques to improve your organization's visibility online, helping the right people find you when they search.
Website Maintenance & Support
Ongoing support and maintenance services to keep your site up-to-date, secure, and functioning optimally, without needing an in-house webmaster.
Software Integrations
Make your tools work together.
Your website, donor database, volunteer scheduler, and payment processor should not operate in silos. When your systems work together, staff and volunteers spend less time on data entry and more time on your mission.
Connected Systems
Your website, donor management software, and internal tools should not operate separately. We connect the systems you already rely on so information moves automatically instead of manually.
Donor & CRM Integration
Donations should not disappear into inboxes, and new donors should not require duplicate entry. We connect your website directly to your donor database or CRM so records stay accurate and up to date.
Custom API Development
When platforms do not communicate, we build the bridge. Custom integrations allow your systems to exchange data securely and reliably, so your software fits your organization instead of the other way around.
Workflow Automation
We identify manual steps that can be automated and handle them in the background, from intake forms to volunteer reminders and beyond.
Scalable Infrastructure
We build integrations and custom tools that are stable and maintainable, so your organization avoids costly rebuilds and keeps moving forward with confidence.
Mission Focused Tools
Free does not mean careless.
We do not build for the sake of building. Every project is scoped around your mission and what your team can realistically maintain, and designed to generate real value. If it does not help you serve your community, we do not ship it.
Donation Focused Websites
We design websites that turn visitors into donors, volunteers, and adopters. Every layout, message, and call to action is built to grow support for your mission. If it does not serve that goal, it does not get built.
Clear Positioning and Messaging
Many nonprofit websites fail to explain the mission clearly. We help sharpen your message and guide visitors toward the next step, whether that is donating, adopting, or volunteering.
Operational Efficiency
Smart systems reduce wasted time and volunteer hours. From custom tools to streamlined workflows, we build solutions that free up staff time without adding unnecessary complexity.
Search Visibility That Converts
Traffic alone does not grow a nonprofit. We structure sites and content so the right people find you and are guided toward meaningful action, whether that is a donation, an adoption, or an event sign-up.
Long Term Performance
Your website and tools are mission infrastructure. We build fast, maintainable systems that keep delivering value over time, so what we launch supports your organization today and years from now.
AI Automation
Applied where it actually helps.
AI is not a standalone feature. It is most useful when it is connected to real workflows. We apply it where it reduces manual work for staff and volunteers and makes existing systems easier to use and manage.
Workflow Automation
Repetitive processes can be structured and handled automatically. From intake to task creation, AI helps reduce manual steps and keeps work moving without constant intervention from your team.
Inquiry & Intake Handling
Incoming adoption applications, volunteer sign-ups, and general inquiries can be summarized, organized, and routed before anyone reviews them, creating a cleaner starting point for follow-up.
System-Aware AI
AI works best when connected to the tools your team already uses. By integrating it into your donor database, forms, and internal systems, it becomes part of the workflow instead of a separate tool.
Internal Tools & Assistants
AI can support day-to-day operations through internal tools, including search across documentation, drafting assistance, and helping small teams navigate complex systems more efficiently.
Practical Implementation
Not every process needs AI. We focus on use cases where it provides clear value and fits naturally into the way your staff and volunteers already operate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers for nonprofit partners.
Nonprofit tech partnerships work best when expectations are clear. Here are a few of the questions organizations usually ask before getting started.
Is this actually free?
Yes. Our labor and development time are free for qualifying nonprofits. We may not always be able to cover hard costs like hardware, cameras, or software subscriptions, but we will always do what we can to help minimize those too.
Is this ongoing, managed IT infrastructure?
No. We are not a long-term managed IT provider or a dedicated infrastructure team. We offer support as needed, meaning you can reach out when something needs building, fixing, or automating, rather than paying for a standing service.
Who do you typically partner with?
We currently serve as the IT support partner for Southern Pines Animal Shelter and Pine Belt Humanists, and we work with other nonprofits, community groups, and charitable organizations that need a reliable technical partner without hiring in-house.
What kinds of work can you support?
We support websites, donation and adoption forms, volunteer and event tools, software integrations, workflow automation, and AI-assisted tools. Some organizations bring us in for a single project, while others use us as an ongoing IT partner.
We do not have a technical team. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Most of the organizations we support do not have in-house developers, which is exactly why they work with us. We handle the technical side and explain things in plain language so your staff and volunteers can stay focused on the mission.
Can you fix or take over an existing website?
Yes. We regularly step in to maintain, update, or rebuild existing sites and systems, whether they were built by a previous developer, a volunteer, or a website builder that has become hard to manage.
Can you help us automate volunteer or donor communication?
Yes. That is one of the most common requests we get. We help organizations automate reminders, confirmations, and routine communication so staff and volunteers are not manually sending the same messages over and over.
Do you only work with animal welfare and humanist organizations?
No, but those are two of our current partners and a good example of the kind of mission-driven work we enjoy supporting. We welcome conversations with any nonprofit or community organization looking for a dependable technology partner.
Is there a limit to how much free support you can provide?
We take on nonprofit partners based on our current capacity. If we are at capacity or a project is outside what we can reasonably do for free, we will tell you upfront and try to point you in the right direction.
How do partnerships usually start?
Most partnerships start with a conversation about your organization, your current tools, and where you are spending the most time or running into the most friction. From there, we can support a single project or build toward an ongoing partnership like the ones we have with Southern Pines Animal Shelter and Pine Belt Humanists.
